Buffaloberries™ Does Not Use

  •  Animal products raised with antibiotics, hormones, and animal by-products
  •  Synthetic trans fats (NO hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils or deep-fried foods)
  •  Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) or free glutamate proteins (NO MSG, hydrolyzed protein or autolyzed yeast)
  •  High fructose corn syrup (used as a sweetener and a flavor enhancer in processed foods)
  •  Controversial Artificial Sweeters (NO Aspartame (Nutrasweet® & Equal®), 'Ace K' (Sweet One® & Sunnett®), Cyclamate, or Saccharin
  •  Environmental Working Group 'Dirty Dozen+' fruits and vegetables (non-organic apples, celery, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, hot peppers, imported nectarines, peaches, potatoes, spinach, strawberries, sweet bell peppers, kale/collard greens, summer squash)
  •  FD&C Yellow No. 5, tartrazine (an artificial coloring agent)
  •  Added Nitrates and Nitrites (naturally present in some foods but used as color fixatives & preservatives)
  •  Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) (non-organic canola oil, soybeans, corn, papaya, crookneck and straightneck squash, zucchini)
  •  Added Sodium Benzoate (naturally present in cranberries, prunes, cinnamon, greengage plums, apples, & ripe cloves but used as a preservative in some foods)
  •  Corn oil, soybean oil, & safflower oil (oils that are high in inflammatory Omega 6 fats and low in inflammation-fighting Omega 3 fats)

 

Buffaloberries™ Limits

  •  Added Sugar
  •  Saturated fats (high fat dairy products, corn-fed meats, farmed fish & seafood, lard, coconut oil, and palm oil)
  •  Added Sulfites and Sulfur Dioxide (naturally present in most wine; generally safe for most people but can be fatal to persons with sensitivities—used as a preservative in many foods)
